FAQ

Once you take our diagnostic exam, your score and background information will be reviewed. You will then meet with a tutoring manager and your prospective tutor to get started!

How do I get a tutor?

All our tutors come to us already with reputations for INCREASING people's scores. They have decided to work with a college admissions company, knowing that higher scores and grades are an important piece of the college admissions process.

How does INCREASE work? How are you better?

Using the SAT as a scale, it takes about 10 hours of tutoring to gain 30 points, about 20 to gain 60, and so on and so forth. Obviously, the closer you get to the top of scales, the more hours you may need, but generally, the 3 points/tutoring-hour is what you can expect if you keep up with all your assignments and tutor expectations. There are no guarantees for results as what you get out of your work very much depends on how much you put into it -- these are general rules of thumb.
